More hay and feed listing services

I was reminded there may be other hay, straw and feed listing services available to farmers looking to buy or sell products this fall. Do a search and check them out on-line. Steve from the TownPost (launched in 2010) based in Barrhead, AB says their family-owned business offers free on-line classifieds to rural Albertans. Along with […] Read more

Trip to field to bale hay turns violent

Young Alberta farmers with tractor arrested by sheriffs

Every time I hear, read (or usually see the video) of what appears to be excessive police takedowns of people who apparently are posing some threat to society I really have to wonder about police training. I’m sure there are 100s of arrests daily that are easy and peaceful without either side of the issue […] Read more

Colossal payout doesn’t cast shadow on Roundup safety

Bayer looking to settle the glyphosate debate once and for all

It is probably wrong to describe anything that cost nearly $US11 billion as frivolous, but I have to think how much good could have been done in the world with the $11 billion Bayer paid to settle what in my view were essentially frivolous US-based class action law suits claiming that Roundup and other glyphosate-based […] Read more
