A new face, and new faces, for CASA

The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA), which promotes safety and well-being in Canada’s agricultural sector, unveiled a fresh new look and announced the results of board elections during its recent annual general meeting.

Two newly elected board members will play crucial roles in advancing the organization’s mission: CASA is pleased to welcome Shelley Kirychuk of the Canadian Centre for Rural and Agricultural Health and Trevor Whalley of AgSafe BC to its board.

CASA is also pleased to announce a new executive team. Peter Sykanda, a policy analyst with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, is the newly appointed chair. Jonathan Giret of Elite Agri Solutions takes on the role of vice-chair, Shelley Kirychuk becomes secretary and Bruce James of AGI becomes treasurer.
