Massey Ferguson had its latest sprayer offering, the 500R, on full display at the National Farm Machinery Show earlier this month.
The new 500R series sprayers come in two models: the 525R with 212 hp and a 740 gallon tank (2,800 litres) and a 530R at 235 hp and a 860 gallon tank (3,255 litres). Both models are offered in 90 and 100-foot boom widths.

Bourgault rolls out new drill, opener and upgrades to BiC system
Bourgault in mid-January announced the release of three new products for its 2027 model year lineup: a new 50-foot drill, a new twin-shank opener and an upgraded BiC system.
“We’re looking at that one to two thousand acre operation, giving them full control of their growing cycle,” says Heath Kehnemund, marketing product manager with Massey Ferguson. “This is the first time Massey Ferguson has a solution for every part of the growing cycle, from putting it (crop) in the ground to harvesting.”
Among several features, one standout of the 500R is a LiquidLogic system that allows chemical in the sprayer system to be returned to the tank in the event an operator has to cut the job short due to weather.
“We bring a commercial style application to a grower platform that is standard equipment,” adds Kehnemund.
