Small plot data from the 2016 Canola Performance Trials has been posted online. At the CPT website you can look up average yield, height, lodging and days to maturity for tested canola varieties. Filters on the website let you look for results in specific locations, and directly compare one variety to another.
These small plots were 1.5 to 2.1 metres wide by five or six metres long. Field scale data will be added to the website soon.
The CPT program is managed by the Canola Council of Canada, and funded by your canola levies through the three Prairie canola grower groups: the Alberta Canola Producers Commission, the Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SaskCanola) and the Manitoba Canola Growers Association.
