You’ve likely seen Don Norman’s work in these pages several times in recent months and you can expect to see much more of it now, as he officially becomes an associate editor for Grainews starting with this issue.
Most recently a reporter with our sister book, the Manitoba Co-operator, Don has a degree in international development from the University of Winnipeg and decades of experience in Manitoba media. He’s worked for several publishing houses in Winnipeg, previously owned and/or operated community newspapers at Pine Falls and Beausejour in the province’s eastern region, and wrote for the Co-operator on a freelance basis for years before joining our shop full-time.
With Grainews, Don will be writing some of the features you see every issue and, as associate editor, will also be helping us write the parts between the words and pictures. You can reach him via email with your questions or comments.
