Minnesota-based ASV has introduced two more compact track loaders (CTL) to its product line, the very small RT 25 Posi-Track, and the much bigger RT-65 Posi-Track.
The RT-25 is designed for working in very tight spaces. The brand claims it’s the industry’s smallest sit-in CTL, and that a machine of that design is safer and more productive than a walk-behind or stand-on mini loader.
The RT-25 is just 1.22 metres (48 inches) wide and has a 1,703 kilogram (3,755 pound) operating weight. Power comes from a 25 horsepower Tier 4 Final Perkins diesel engine that doesn’t require regeneration, exhaust sensors or diesel exhaust fluid.

CNH plans for “more than 15 new tractor launches, 10 combine launches, 19 crop production launches and over 30 precision technology releases between now and the end of 2027.”
Rated operating capacity is 301 kilograms (665 pounds), with a tipping load of 861 kilograms (1,900 pounds). And it can lift that load to 2.54 metres (8.4 feet).
A 25 centimetre (10 inch) ground clearance allows the unit to easily travel over obstructions with less risk of getting hung up. The chassis also provides a 55 degree departure angle for effective uphill movement.
The second new model to come from ASV recently is the RT-65. It offers more horsepower in a much larger chassis. A turbocharged 67 horsepower Deutz 2.2 litre diesel delivers 184 foot-pounds of torque to the drive motors. This engine requires no regeneration, exhaust sensors or diesel exhaust fluid either.
Serviceability features include a swing-out radiator, top hood and side doors that allow access to all sides of the engine compartment, including filters and other daily checkpoints. The cooler swings out with the door, giving operators good access for easy cleaning.
ASV put the drain plugs on all service items, including drive motors, the hydraulic tank, the radiator and the engine oil pan, within easy reach. The RT-65 features easy-to-access spin-on, frame-mounted filters for simple, single-wrench service, rather than hose clamp-mounted filters.

The auxiliary hydraulic system provides 3,300 p.s.i. of auxiliary pressure and an 84 litre (22.2 g.p.m.) standard flow rate. The company also offers an optional 103 l/min (27.4 g.p.m.) high-flow system. All that flow comes from a direct-drive hydraulic pump.
Operating capacity is 873 kilograms (1,925 pounds) with a tipping load of 2,494 kilograms (5,500 pounds). It is 1.67 metres (66 inches) wide and has a 2.96 metre (116.5 inch) lift height. Standard joystick controls make operation easy and the loader arms use a self-levelling system.
The RT-65 features a suspension system made up of two independent torsion axles per undercarriage, allowing for a smooth ride and speeds as fast as 11 m.p.h.
