U.S. livestock: Cattle futures slow descent

Chicago cattle futures fell on Thursday but to a lesser degree compared to Wednesday’s limit-down drop. Most-active December live cattle closed down 1.750 cents to 218.775 cents per pound. U.S. livestock: Cattle futures post limit-down losses

Cattle futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were down by their daily limits on Wednesday, with speculative long liquidation a feature.
