Case IH expands air cart line and updates planter options

Case IH has added to its 5 series line of air carts, pushing tank capacity to 760 bushels.

Case IH has decided to expand its 5 series air cart line with the addition of two new wide-body, tow-between models. The new Precision Air 3725, which has a 725-bushel capacity, and the Precision Air 4765, which carries 760 bushels, are now the largest of the tow-between models offered by the brand.

Both new carts use a three-tank design, although the 4765 also gets an auxiliary tank as well. The new models are available with a hydraulic jack to raise and lower the hitch, making it easier to hook up to the tractor, even when the cart is fully loaded. A multi-position rear hitch allows for more flexibility to accommodate different drills.

Canada to have increased presence at Agritechnica 2025

Interest in diversifying trade markets is taking more Canadian manufacturers to Agritechnica 2025, the world’s largest machinery show.

When it comes to planters, the brand is adding WaveVision seed sensors as a factory-installed option for the 2000 series Early Riser planter. Available for model year 2022, the brand claims this feature will be especially valuable for growers who routinely operate in high dust or extreme residue conditions, where a standard optical sensor might provide erratic feedback due to interference.

Also, for model year 2022 planters, Case IH will offer a 2×2 frame-mounted liquid fertilizer factory-installed option, which is intended for growers who want to place a starter course of fertilizer with their planter pass. Also available on 2160 Early Riser planters will be new track offerings that include a 24-inch-wide track at a spacing of 132 inches, which can help minimize soil compaction.
