In late November Can-Am announced the introduction of a new cab option for the three- and six-seater Defender DPS HD10 side-by-side UTVs.
The new option, called the Defender DPS Cab HD10 model, gets heating and air conditioning in a cab that provides a more automotive-like environment, making those trips in inclement weather a lot more comfortable.
A Defender with the new updated cab package starts at C$29,999.

Can-Am also announced a new colour option for the Outlander Electric ATV models: Wildland Camo. The company says the electric ATV is ideal for hunters because it runs silently, while the new camo colour allows it to blend into the scenery a little better.
Electric off-road vehicles may not be something most buyers have thought about, and range is always a concern for those unfamiliar with that technology.
Outlanders get a published maximum range of 80 kilometres. Of course range will depend on a number of factors, such as temperature, terrain, load and speed. Can-Am notes that the “average utility range” is 50 kilometres.
Charging time on the Outlanders is pretty short. They’re compatible with Level 1 chargers (the fastest mode for automotive applications). That gives them a short 50-minute 20 to 80 per cent recharge time.
“We’re committed to making adventure and utility more accessible to riders everywhere,” Can-Am Off-Road marketing director Jeremi Doyon-Roch said in a press release.
“Our new Can-Am Defender DPS Cab HD10 with HVAC package means more people can experience the durability and versatility… And with the introduction of our new Dark Wildland Camo colour for the Outlander Electric, hunters can now be better equipped than ever before to pursue game in the backcountry.”
