With weather increasingly being more erratic, growers are looking for new strategies that can help keep moisture on fields. So what about bringing an old idea to the forefront? Stripper headers are designed to leave taller stubble on fields to act as a snow catch during winter, and as an added bonus, it can also improve your efficiency at harvest. A while back we spoke with Scott Ousdahl of K-Hart Industries at Ag in Motion who had a ‘Raptor’ stripper header at the show.
