Krone, known for four decades as a forage equipment manufacturer, has recently added to its equipment line in North America, with the addition of the ActiveMow R and EasyCut R three-point hitch mounted disc mowers. The Germany-based brand describes them as an “elite new generation.a”
The mowers use a low-profile design with welded-on plates to protect the cutters from damage. The SafeCut disc hubs use a shear pin to prevent damage. They also use Krone’s quick-change knife change system.
Both mower lines are available in working widths up to 11 feet 10 inches (3.61 metres).
