Feed Grains: US winter wheat seeding begins

WINNIPEG, September 8 (CNS Canada) – Following are a few highlights in the Canadian and world feed grains markets on Thursday, September 8.
– Western Canadian barley producers have committed to invest more than C$2.4 million over five years to the barley variety development program at the University of Saskatchewan Crop Development Centre, according to the Western Grains Research Foundation. The funding will support a variety of development work that will improve barley’s profitability and long-term sustainability.
