The inoculant maker formerly known as Philom Bios has picked up registration to market TagTeam Soybean and N-Prove Soybean liquid inoculants in Western Canada.
Novozymes BioAg — as the Saskatoon firm was named after it sold itself to Danish enzyme firm Novozymes late last year — said its TagTeam Soybean liquid inoculant will only be available in Western Canada in “limited quantities” for the spring planting season, since the registration was received so close to seeding.
N-Prove Soybean liquid won’t be available for sale until spring 2009, Novozymes said in a release Friday.
The TagTeam Soybean liquid formulation completes the company’s suite of options for soybean growers by providing them with peat, granular and liquid formulations, Novozymes said. TagTeam Soybean liquid will be sold as a co-pack,
containing a liquid bradyrhizobia, for nitrogen fixation, as well as the phosphate inoculant.
N-Prove Soybean liquid will be a single-action inoculant, intended for nitrogen fixing only, on fields with high levels of available phosphate, Novozymes said.
