A group of Prairie crop associations have pledged $1.8 million to continue barley variety development at the University of Saskatchewan’s Crop Development Centre.

The prize, supplied by Dimo’s Labtronics of Winnipeg, is a Labtronics Model 919 moisture meter with a 500g x 0.1 g digital scale. It includes a removable 3.5-inch cell, intended to make sample testing faster and easier.

Good luck! And if you’re at the show, do come visit us at the Farm Business Communications booth (No. 182-183) in the Credit Union EventPlex. We’ll be to your left (across from Timmy’s) at the EventPlex’s main entrance.

And if you can’t make it to the show, you can connect to it through our Farm Progress Show News, delivered to your e-mail inbox each day during the show. An online form where you can sign up to receive the Show News is available at our Grainews or Country Guide websites.
