Arysta LifeScience has registered Pre-pare, a burndown herbicide for addition to glyphosate. Arysta says the combination improves yields by adding residual activity on wild oats and green foxtail.
“Current products on the market miss the residual grass component. Only Pre-pare keeps wild oats and green foxtail from robbing valuable nutrients from an emerging wheat crop,” Craig Brekkas, Arysta’s product manager, Western Canada said in a release. “Due to Pre-pare’s residual control in the soil, vital fertilizer, nitrogen and moisture will be feeding the wheat — not the weeds.”
