Winnipeg, March 3 – The Canadian dollar was slightly lower
compared to its US counterpart Friday morning, tracking losses in
metals.
New numbers from the Toronto Retail Estate Board say the average
selling price of a home in the Greater Toronto Area was C$875,983.
At 9:03 CST Friday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7640
or C$1.3089 which compares with Thursday’s North American close of
US$0.7643 or C$1.3399.
At 9:03 CST Friday morning, the TSX was up 28.32 points, or
0.18%, at 15,564.97.
The TSX took strength from gains in crude oil prices.
