Model M135X, with 118 PTO horsepower and 135 engine horsepower, takes Kubota into the 110-plus PTO hp sector for the first time.
Other tractors in the deluxe M Series include M126X, M110X and M100X, with model number to match engine horsepower.
Kubota’s higher horsepower M-Series tractors have an electronic common rail fuel system for more power, less noise and reduced emissions. The two larger models have a new four-cylinder, high-torque engine with a large displacement of 6.1 litres. While Kubota will not be producing a 200-hp tractor any time soon, this new 6.1-litre engine block does offer space for horsepower growth with upcoming models, says Christian Bisson, marketing specialist with Kubota Canada.
