Ed Schutte sent this photo showing a stunned frog outside its mud hibernation hut. Ed writes: “My wife’s sister was helping get the potatoes out this last fall at her daughter’s farm near Prud’homme Sask. She discovered this wet little ball. Then the end fell off and a frog came out. At the top off the ball there is a little breathing hole. The frog was transparent and you could see the many bugs it had eaten. We hope you enjoy the picture as much as we do.” The frog is “boreal” species and about two inches long, Ed says.
Thanks Ed. Your $25 is on its way.
