FMC Corporation recently announced an amended label registration approval from the Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for use of Authority 480 herbicide. The amended label now allows Canadian farmers to control broadleaf weeds such as kochia, lamb’s quarters, redroot pigweed and wild buckwheat in flax, sunflowers, field peas and chickpeas in the Prairie provinces.
Authority 480 herbicide is a Group 14 pre-emergent herbicide, providing long-lasting residual control and is a tool to help manage resistant weeds.
