New Holland designed its new TS6000 Series tractors to fit into the “economical” category, providing a simple tractor in two sizes: Model TS6020 with 90 PTO horsepower and Model TS6030 with 96 PTO hp. The four-cylinder diesel is turbocharged and intercooled. The TS6030 version can run on standard diesel fuels or any biodiesel blend up to B100 that meets ASTM 6751 fuel quality standards.
The standard transmission is 8F x 2R constant mesh, or you can choose from three optional transmissions: 12F x 3R with creeper range, 16F x 4R Dual Command transmission with an underdrive gear for each 8 x 2 gear at the push of a button for added torque, and 24F x 6R transmission which adds creeper range with underdrive gear to the 16 x 4 transmission.
Hydraulic features include standard FWD for on-the-go extra traction and wheel slip, and an auxiliary implement hydraulic pump is available to add nine gpm flow to the standard 13-gpm implement pump. Three-point hitch capacity can be increased from the standard 3,600 pounds up to 5,400 pounds with a single lift assist cylinder or up to 7,200 pounds with two lift assist cylinders.
