New Holland seems to be paying a lot of attention to creating special appearances for some of its machines lately. So far they’ve offered features including chrome components on the 8N Boomer tractor and 50th anniversary edition SP forage harvester, along with the very attractive Maserati blue option on their T8 tractor. Now designers for the blue line have turned their attention to the Rustler line of side-by-side utility vehicles.
The Rustler UTV line now offers a high-end version, the new Stallion model, which allows buyers to customize or add some extra visual appeal to their machine.
“The Stallion is poised to take its place as the premier version of the Rustler utility vehicle,” reads NH’s press release. “All Stallions feature the special Black Stallion paint colour, sporty decals and canopy, a chrome tube bumper, speedometer, and front and rear receivers.” The Stallion package also includes a chrome tool box, choice of alloy or black rims, mud or all-terrain tires, and bench or bucket seats.
If you’re a hunter, a camouflage pattern paint option is now available on all Rustlers. The Camo models feature a Realtree Max 4 camo pattern and black seats, dash, cargo box and rims. To go along with that paint scheme, NH also offers some spiffy new accessories that will appeal to outdoorsmen; they include gun boots, spark arrester, CVT boot guards, rear differential rock guards and skid plates.
And if you want your Rustler, or fleet of them, painted a special colour, NH will do that too — right on the assembly line. Why would anyone need that? According to NH, it allows small businesses, teams and other organizations to use a Rustler to promote their brand. “Rustler owners can customize their vehicle with a special paint colour — right from the factory — instead of spending the extra time and money on an aftermarket custom paint job,” declares the press release.
Special-colour units can be ordered in any PPG brand paint colour by simply supplying the PPG colour code, which can be obtained through New Holland dealers.
So if Gainer the Gopher wears out his existing ride making victory laps around the Mosaic Stadium sidelines this year, he can easily order a new one in Roughrider colours right from the NH factory. Here’s hoping he has to!
