– Crude oil futures advanced in early activity on Monday, in recovery-based trade after last week’s losses.

OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) members are discussing a production cut extension, which added to the upside.

– Wholesale sales edged down 0.2 per cent to C$58.9 billion in February, following four consecutive monthly increases.
