Global markets: Asian, European manufacturing up

WINNIPEG, April 3, 2017 (CNS Canada) – The following is a glance at the news moving markets globally.

– Factories in Europe and Asia saw solid growth in March, according to a report on Monday.

China’s manufacturing index advanced at its fastest pace in close to five years, analysts say, while in the euro zone, manufacturing hit a six-year-high.

– While euro zone manufacturing was strong in March, market watchers say the region had a tough time keeping up with demand.

Reports from the euro zone say supply delays and rising costs are common.
